Terry just recently had a family from Minnesota stop and see him, who used his coffee at our funeral home, when their loved one died. Bud was born and raised in Kansas City, MO, served in the Marine Corps, and graduated from Harvard University. He met and married Suzanne in Cambridge, MA, where they owned and operated Ferdinand’s Restaurant on Harvard Square in the 1960’s and 70’s. This was a spot beloved by locals and tourists, where Bud’s gracious and welcoming personality made everyone feel at home.

She was born January 5, 1984, the daughter of Michael and Susan VanderLeest. Anna had a great passion for taking care of those in need, always thinking of others before herself. She was currently employed as a caregiver with North Central Health Care and Succeed Independence in Wausau.

He was the kindest, gentlest soul you’ll ever meet. He loved his dachshunds, movies, and music when he wasn’t busy with his restaurants. Phillip J. Kilinski, 94, Wausau, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at his home. He was born August 30, 1928, in Elgin, Il, son of the late Phillip Sr. and Adeline Kilinski. In October of 1958 he married Dorothianne Rebella in Mellen WI. She preceded him in death in 2005. He later helped his dad build Phil’s Resort on Lake Nokomis.
